Sandton learner shines in prestigious ballet production

Jenna Levin’s success is a testament to the vibrant and nurturing environment that the school provides for all its learners.

Crawford International Sandton College is thrilled to announce the outstanding success of one of its own – Jenna Levin, a Grade 11 learner who recently achieved a significant milestone in her ballet career.

Jenna’s dedication and hard work paid off when she successfully auditioned for the Johannesburg Youth Ballet earlier this year.

This prestigious opportunity allowed her to participate in the production, Dance Spectrum – Symbiosis, a collaboration between The National School of the Arts and The Johannesburg Youth Ballet.

The production, which ran from August 1 to 4, at the Lesedi Theatre in Johannesburg, featured Jenna in an adaptation of the classical ballet, Les Sylphides.

Her performance was met with admiration, highlighting the exceptional talent and discipline she brings to the art of ballet.

The show, known for its breathtaking choreography and the synergy between two leading arts institutions, was a testament to the dedication of all the performers involved, including Jenna, who spent countless weekends rehearsing for this remarkable event.

Nadia Cooke, the communications representative for Crawford International Sandton College, expressed the school’s pride in Jenna’s achievements.
