Johannesburg Water announces a 15-hour water shutdown on Tuesday, October 3.
Residents of Johannesburg will endure a 15-our water shutdown on Tuesday, October 3 from 07:00 to 22:00.
The affected areas include Wynberg, Bramley, Alexandra, Raumarais, Kew. Whitney Gardens. Corlett Gardens, Lombardy, Formain, Rembrandt, Dunserven, Lyndhurst, Glenhazel, Sunningdale, Savoy Estate, Gresswald, Highlands North, Parkwood North, Parkhurst, Craighall and Hyde Park.
Johannesburg Water has stated that the reason for this shutdown is to repair a leaking valve while in Alexandra, the reason for the interruption is for the decommissioning of the existing valves.
Residents are urged to store and save water during this time.
