Mandela Day at the Park
Dogs are loyal, loving, hilarious, and endlessly forgiving creatures who have a knack for warming our hearts.
Community members around Nice on Poplar Park and the surrounding area had a furry-filled day where they got to spend 67 minutes with a rescue dog.
Celebrating Mandela Day on July 15, with puppy love and donating to their well-being was the highlight for the attendees.
Kevin Stirling said, “This day is to make a difference on Mandela Day and sponsor a rescue dog for R67.”
He added that the public and volunteers joined A New Hope Dog Rescue at Poplar on Park in Bryanston to spend 67 minutes, showing the shelter dogs love and appreciation. He thanked them for their time.
“Much fun was had in aid of our cause, and we hope to be doing this every time, sharing the furry love with the public.”
