Bryanston cricket school continues to work hard
Cover Drive Cricket School perfects their skills in an internal game against each other.
Cover Drive Cricket School is currently running a winter development programme and has started putting its structures together in preparation for the summer league.
Over the weekend, they had a cricket gala, which was fun and educational for the players as they played against each other.
According to the head coach for Cover Drive Cricket School, Sydwell Ndlovu, staying in the moment with everything ready is important and that is what they are doing by being a step ahead, being mindful and aware of their short-term goals that have to align with their long-term goals.
That being said, he added that the way their development structures are fun and easy for the players to grasp, they look forward to better results in the summer leagues.
“We are very passionate about producing quality players, and it is also at our core to develop good human beings in our society through the sport and always humbled by the small or big achievements attained by our players. It is that phone call or a happy player at training telling us they have been selected for the school’s first team, district cricket, province, or offered a scholarship.”
He added that these are priceless moments for the schools and players what motivates them to give their best in the game and enjoy it.
