Bryanston Country Club celebrates 75 years

The Bryanston Country Club is a leading and self-sustaining country club that is and exciting, welcoming place to spend time and appeals to members, their families, and guests.

The Bryanston Country Club recently celebrated its 75th anniversary.

The celebration is a result of the club surviving and even thriving in these turbulent times. The celebrations included different types of events, including the Gin Launch, 75 Km Walking Challenge, R75 food specials, Teen Padel Challenge, and Junior Ball Skills, among others.

According to marketing manager Tilani Edwards, on any 75-year journey, there are ups and downs, but they are pleased to have been through a healthy period over the past decade where the club’s fortunes, symbolised by the mythical Phoenix on their logo, have been on the rise.

“This is not to say that we have never had challenging times, but through hard work, commitment, and great strategic leadership, the club has persevered, and the value of a warm and welcoming country club has resonated with our community. The demand for membership is so high that we have had to create waitlists.”

However, she added that their work is never done, and while they enjoy their current success, they have a strong team that remains committed to continually improving the club and the experience one has with every visit.

“We want to continue to work with all stakeholders to ensure that our awesome club remains a happy place for all that come through our gates.”

Edwards thanked all the loyal members of the club for their support and hopes that they enjoy looking through the books which encapsulate a bit of history, as well as a celebration of what the club is today.

“We look forward to celebrating many milestones with our members and look forward to the next 25 years of magical moments.”
