A laughter and music-filled evening at a local school
Young theatre performers brought fire to the school's stage with classic movie songs.
If possible, there’s nothing like a good belly laugh in the company of a bunch of similarly tickled people.
Friends and family who attended the musicals in miniature at Crawford International Sandton College can testify that good laughter and music go hand in hand.
The school hosted a theatre performance of eleven classic movies in celebration of their 30th anniversary spectacular, and learners put on their best singing and performance skills for the test.
The Lion King, Chicago, My Fair Lady, Mamma Mia, The Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line, Frozen, Grease, Beauty and the Beast, Dreamgirls, and The Greatest Showman were the movies performed.
From singing high notes to dancing, learners had a splendid evening showing the audience their talent and glamorising outfits.
