Hyde Park High School converted its surplus tennis courts into a multi-purpose netball and basketball court.
A sporting milestone has been reached with a new sporting code being added to extra-mural opportunities. It was with great excitement and huge pupil participation that the school’s basketball courts were recently officially opened.
The courts underwent a full refurbishment and renovation during the April school holidays, converting surplus tennis courts into a multi-purpose netball/basketball court.
The principal, Melanie Kallie, and deputy principal Lawrence Nayager officially cut the ribbon and invited the enthusiastic players to experience their first practice.
