Cover Drive Cricket School’s lasts wicket of the season

Local cricket school in Bryanston proud of its aspiring pro players.

The Cover Drive Cricket School thanked all the players and coaches for supporting the wonderful Africa Cup 2023 cricket tournament that the school hosted.

Sydwell Ndlovu, the founder of the cricket school, said that it was a great experience to watch extraordinary talent that was demonstrated by all the players.

“Above all, I am happy to be part of these aspiring pro players and coaches’ development.”

The tournaments were played at various schools with which the club has relationships.

“The schools included Blagowrie Primary, Balfour Park, Bryanston Primary School, Grayston Primary School and Bryanston High.”

Ndlovu pointed out that this is their second season running this tournament and every season they gain support from both traditional cricket clubs and up and coming teams.

“We did not win any trophies this year, but we would like to congratulate the teams that did. This is a great opportunity for us to go back to the drawing board and redefine our brand of cricket before we take on other challenges.”
