J&B partners up with Homie, Lover and Friend
One of the organisers for the Homie, Lover and Friend function, Phola Gumede, shares the main purpose of why their organisation was created.
The presence of good music, friends, drinks and food will undoubtedly be the best way to start and end off your weekend.
Representatives of Homie, Lover and Friend, an organisation known to bring friends together through food and music, hosted their recent brunch function at Kramerville on February 19 after partnering with well-known whisky brand, J&B.
The creative minds behind the concept of the laid-back groove environment was Phola Gumede (accounts manager), Lungi Molefe (art director) and Qhawe Luthuli (events manager) who all felt the need to share their love of music with the world.
Gumede shared, “We hinge the decision-making process on striving to give our attendees a fresh pairing. One of the first steps is making sure that the curation brings feeling and serendipity through choosing the right space. We also look to create with performers that have eccentricity to communicate the cultural zeitgeist. To successfully grow and enhance the experience for our guests, our events have been
centred around creating new memories over good food, great drinks and music, has and will be our goal.”
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with complimentary cocktails of their picking fused with a secret ingredient, J&B. The atmosphere was electric from morning till evening due to the music and food.
