Head of marketing of Brescia House School, Helga Bishop, congratulates the members of the school who received their accolades during the annual Gauteng Sports Awards.

On February 18 the Gauteng Sports Awards acknowledged some of the finest teams, athletes, and coaches who displayed true brilliance in 2022. The Bryanston locals were more than thrilled to have their names called up on stage to celebrate their achievements.

Hosted by the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture, and Recreation, many prominent figures in the sports industry shared the excitement of participating in the prestigious awards ceremony with friends and families.

During the prize giving at Tshwane University of Technology in Soshanguve, members of Brescia House School were recognised on stage.

Learner, Grace Prince, received her finalist certificate in the Amayanga-Yanga Athlete of the Year category for Lifesaving. Michelle Joubert, the head of high school sports at Brescia, won the category of technical official of the year for hockey.

“We are so proud to have both a Brescia school learner and a member of staff being recognised at the annual prestigious award ceremony,” said the head of marketing of Brescia House School, Helga Bishop.
