New greener pastures for Social Crime Prevention officer of Sandton

Captain Cynthia Segoa of Social Crime Prevention thanks her Sandton police colleagues and communities for her time at the Sandton Police Station.

After serving her community for more than two decades in the department of Social Crime Prevention, Captain Cynthia Segoa bids her farewell to both her colleagues at the Sandton Police Station and residents.

Segoa was formerly ranked as a sergeant at the Sandton station and will be relocating to the Sandringham Police Station on November 29 as captain.

“I am excited for the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the next phase of my career. I have always believed in serving communities and protecting others through visible policing so nothing in me will change. I have been at the station (Sandton) for 24 years and I think now is the perfect time to help other communities. I will definitely miss the people here in Sandton.”

In bidding farewell, Segoa said residents should continue working with the police to reduce crime in the area and thanks everyone for her time at the Sandton Police Station.
