Bryanston residents without water as pipe burst reoccurs after 24-hour shutdown

The major pipe burst on Anslow Lane, previously repaired by means of a 24-hour water shutdown, has reoccurred. This has left dozen of households in the Bryanston and surrounding areas without water once again.

The major burst pipe on Anslow Lane that Johannesburg Water repaired on October 3 has reoccurred, marking another day without water for residents in Bryanston and extended areas.

The burst pipe resulted in a 24-hour emergency shutdown which left thousands of households without water on October 3 as the City entity isolated the Bryanston reservoir and tower to conduct the repair.
