Support the Friends of the Sandton Library’s book donation drive

The Friends of the Sandton Library are on the hunt for book donations as it raises funds to help keep the local library’s shelves up to date with new and popular titles.

The Friends of the Sandton Library are calling for book donations as it raises funds on behalf of the Sandton Library.

The books go toward regular book sales held at the library. The funds raised from the book sale help purchase new popular and reference books, keeping the library’s shelves up to date.

The Sandton Library, located at Nelson Mandela Square on West Street, offers a collection of over 92 000 books as well as audiobooks, videos, music CDs, language tapes, the local daily and weekly newspapers, periodicals and the provincial and government gazettes.

Book donations can be dropped off at the Sandton Library at Nelson Mandela Square during operating hours.

The library’s operating hours are as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 09:00 to 18:00
Friday: 09:00 to 17:00
Saturday: 09:00 to 13:00
Sunday: Closed

Donations may also be collected by prior arrangement with Jeanette Baller on 082 460 2839.
