Local comedian Dalin Oliver set to bring the laughs to Sandton

Dalin Oliver’s Stay At Home Comedian one-man show is set to leave audiences with tears of laughter from September 27 to October 1.

Local comedian Dalin Oliver is set to bring the laughter when his one-man comedy show Stay At Home Comedian hits the Theatre on the Square from September 27 to October 1.

Oliver said the show was a therapy session where he could complain about the neighbours.

“It’s my favourite stories of experiences and encounters with them. One constantly complains about my loud music despite their ‘adult tennis’ sounds being louder than The Notorious B.I.G. on full blast. Sometimes they even sing along to the music I’m playing. It’s such a double standard right?”

Stay At Home Comedian is Oliver’s fourth comedy special and launched in November 2021.

The special was also awarded the 2022 Standard Bank Ovation Award, fresh from the National Arts Festival in Makhanda, Grahamstown.

“Just like you, I am tired of living life online, checking the Wi-Fi connection and telling people to mute their mics during Zoom calls. Can you even believe we lived through this?

“So, round up all your WhatsApp groups and come have a lekker laugh with Mzansi’s favourite comedian who looks like a Vin Diesel you ordered on Wish.”

Catch Oliver’s Stay At Home Comedian show at the Theatre on the Square from September 27 to October 1. Book your tickets on Computicket.
