River Café thanks you

PARKMORE – Visit the River Café, located in the Field and Study Park, before it closes on March 30.

After 17 years of serving the Sandton and surrounding communities, the River Café in Parkmore is saying goodbye.

Located in the Field and Study Park, the café became an oasis for hundreds of parkgoers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the business district.

According to the cafe’s Lorraine Savage, it has been a treasure for the team to be part of the local community that has supported the café so generously over the years.

“We have grown with the families who have been our regular patrons, and we have hosted so many happy children’s parties, and have watched these children grow from toddlers to university students.

“We are grateful for the many corporates who have chosen to host their meetings and functions and teambuilding events in our grounds.”

Savage added that the team will surely miss all of the customers who have been part of the River Café story.

“The team at River Café want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to these amazing customers for their patronage and support.”

“When we opened our doors 17 years ago, we had the dream of creating a happy place where families and friends could spend time outdoors, enjoying themselves and relaxing in a beautiful setting.

“We wanted to create ‘a better place to be’ and we hope that we achieved this. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye.”

The River Café will be open until March 30.
