Great team behind the Field and Study Park

PARKMORE – The Friends of the Field and Study Park (Fofs) recently appointed two new directors to join its dynamic team.

The Friends of the Field and Study Park recently appointed two new directors to join its dynamic team.

Sandhurst residents Des Nathaniel and Carlo Zourides join Arthur Hammond and Francois Pienaar and chairperson Rose Johnson in leading the non-profit which aims to promote, protect and preserve the Field and Study Park in Parkmore.

According to volunteer Janis Chapman, both have been avid parkgoers, looking to further their passion for the park by joining the board. “One focus of this community-minded team is in keeping up the standards at the Field and Study Park for the continued enjoyment of visitors, of all ages, from local communities and afar.

“The Field and Study Park is kept in pristine condition because of the collaboration between the team, the staff at City Parks Depot 406, in Morningside, and contractors.”

The team has continued to be on the front line with local residents, maintaining the park’s integrity for over 15 years.

“The Friends of the Field and Study Park thank all involved, including members and donors for funds which enable extra work to be done,” Chapman concluded.
