Community members happy with their mammograms at PinkDrive
FERNDALE – Residents appreciate the friendly and professional manner of volunteers and staff after PinkDrive mammograms.
Residents gave their thanks to PinkDrive after conducting mammograms, pap smears, PSA testing and clinical breast examinations during their open day on September 29.
In particular, Mona-Lee Gerber drove all the way from Nigel to join her friend, Jay-Jay Kloppers, to do their mammograms together.
“My GP said I should get a mammogram done but it is very expensive,” she said.
“This was much cheaper than doing it at a clinic and I didn’t have to get a letter from my GP for my gynie, hence, I decided to drive all the way from Nigel to get it done here.”
Kloppers commented that she was very happy with the friendly and professional service of the PinkDrive personnel.
