The Braamfontein Spruit Rehabilitation Project needs you

BRYANSTON – The team is close to reaching their target and would thus like to appeal to the community for any assistance.

The Braamfontein Spruit Rehabilitation Project encourages residents who make use of the spruit area to consider donating toward its drive to purchase a tractor mower.

The non-profit community organisation maintains the area of the spruit near Bryanston Drive, opposite Riverside Shopping Centre.

“A large tractor mower would go a long way in helping the guys maintain the area in a more efficient way. It will also help us to cover more ground,” said the organisation’s founder Barry Cribb.

He added that their team was close to reaching their target and would thus like to appeal to the community for any assistance.

“Many people make use of the area for running, walking, cycling and dog walking. Let’s give this one more push and we can hopefully be fully operational by the time the rains begin again.”
