Motorists advised to remain cautious on N3 highway near Marlboro and surrounds
JOBURG – Johannesburg Metro Police Department spokersperson Wayne Minnaar confirms that various protest incidents took place around Alexandra throughout the night.
Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution along the N3 highway following reports of vehicle stoning near London Road on July 11.
This follows riots across the country claiming to be in support of the ‘Free Zuma’ campaign especially around Kwazulu-Natal and the eastern parts of Johannesburg. Shops and businesses have been destroyed and looted.

This follows protest action around Alexandra last night (July 10) where various shops were reported looted.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area around London Road and Marlboro Drive.
