Supporting victims of human trafficking

RIVONIA – The foundation was able to come this far in translating its conceptual vision into a 'beautiful and tranquil reality' through generous donations, partners and service providers.

Following the recent rise in human trafficking incidents across the country, Hope To Heal Foundation is preparing to open its first wellness centre.

The non-profit organisation aims to fill the gap for trauma informed services and programmes for victims and survivors of human trafficking.

According to founder Seema Naidoo, the foundation will work alongside the government to ensure that every victim and survivor receives the necessary care before they are integrated back into society or repatriated to their place of origin.

“The Hope to Heal Wellness Centre has been created to bring holistic healing to victims and survivors of human trafficking and to facilitate their effective re-integration into society,” she said.

Naidoo added that the foundation was able to come this far in translating its conceptual vision into a ‘beautiful and tranquil reality’ through generous donations, partners and service providers.

“For our effective operation of the wellness centre, we require committed support and partnerships so that victims feel respected, honoured and physiologically secure.”
