St David’s Marist Inanda canoeists gave a phenomenal performance in the recent 1000m South African Sprints Championship.
All of the school’s paddlers powered through to the semi-finals to move on to the finals of their respective heats and age groups.
Josh Friedericksen went home with a silver medal in the U10 age group while Luke Salmon scored gold in the U16s.
Nick Erwee also took home a gold medal.
A special shout-out went to U8 boys Riccardo Puzone, Joshua Powell, and Friedericksen who fought through the rain and the wind.
