Hyde Park High welcomes blue tie councillors

HYDE PARK – The outdoor ceremony was held in front of the Grade 12 group with the head senior councillors giving an inspiring reading to the group out of the leadership registry.

Hyde Park High School recently honoured its newly inducted student leadership team at its Blue Tie Councillor Induction Ceremony.

The outdoor ceremony was held in front of the Grade 12 group with the head senior councillors giving an inspiring reading to the group out of the leadership registry.

“The significance of this event is that these leaders have now formally accepted their leadership role in the school and pledged to support the school management in maintaining discipline and upholding the school’s ethos, to the best of their ability, and signed in the leadership register,” said the school’s Avril Wright.

The learners were each handed their official blue tie by the schools head senior councillors Botuli Nsala, Kayleigh Isaacs, Zaiden Shaik and Diallo Mohapi.

The newly inducted leaders and head senior councillors were welcomed by deputy principal Esme Aling and encouraged to support the school management team.
