Business robbery at a Post Office in Rivonia

Police are urging the community to come forward if they have any information pertaining to the incident.

Three males with firearms entered the Post Office in Rivonia Boulevard this morning on 9 October at about 10am.

According to Sandton Police Station spokesperson Captain Bheki Xulu, the suspects entered the Post Office and pointed firearms at the tellers and customers.   

The suspects allegedly stole money from the safe and the tills. Police attended the scene and a case of business robbery was opened for investigation. Police are following possible leads to the arrest of the suspects. No suspect has been arrested at this stage.

The suspects allegedly fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Sandton Police Station has requested the public to share any information or tip-offs in connection with the incident to call the Crime Stop number: 08600 10111.
