Joburg, brace for yet another cold front

JOBURG – Gauteng Weather estimates that temperatures will drop to a low of -1°C and a high of 17°C.

It is time to once again get out your coats and blankets as Johannesburg prepares for another cold front.

According to the South African Weather Service, a strong cold front is expected to hit the south-west coast tonight and move to other parts of the country tomorrow (18 August).

Gauteng Weather estimates that temperatures in the City of Gold will drop to a low of -1°C and a high of 17°C.

As the cold weather is only expected to ease up on Friday, communities are encouraged to think of the less fortunate and those who require more care during this time.

Pull out those spare blankets and warm clothes, to donate to charities catering for those in desperate need.
