Residents serviced by Marlboro depot warned of delay in refuse collection

MARLBORO – The depot was decontaminated and only scheduled to open on 6 July.

Residents serviced by the Marlboro Pikitup depot may experience a delay in refuse collection following the closure of the depot on 2 July.

The depot was closed with immediate effect after a number of staff members tested positive for Covid-19.

The facility was decontaminated over the weekend and only scheduled to reopen on 6 July.

According to spokesperson Stan Itshegetseng, residents will experience delays in refuse collection as the depot gets back up and running once again.
