MORNINGSIDE – The station will remain partially closed today (23 June) as it undergoes a depth process of decontamination.

The Sandton Police Station remains temporarily closed for a second day after confirming another positive case of Covid-19.

The station will remain partially closed today (23 June) as it undergoes a depth process of decontamination.

According to Gauteng South African Police Service spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza, because the station was already undergoing a decontamination process yesterday, the process will continue today.

“The station will [remain] closed until that process is finalised,” she said.
