Four injured in early morning crash in Woodmead

WOODMEAD – Netcare 911 emergency response teams responded to the collision at 7.27am.

Four people sustained minor injuries in a collision at the N1/N3 split in Woodmead, in the direction of Linksfield, this morning (22 June).

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst, emergency response teams responded to the collision at 7.27am.

“Reports from the scene indicate that three cars and a truck were involved in a collision,” he added.

Medics assessed the scene and found that four people required assistance after sustaining minor injuries.

“The patients were treated on scene and, once stabilised, were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further assessment,” concluded Herbst.
