Officers on patrol arrested a suspect for the possession of a stolen motor vehicle at Sandton City on 2 June.
According to Sandton Police Station spokesperson Captain Granville Meyer, the 37-year-old man from Mpumalanga was arrested in the parking lot.
“Police members on patrol randomly tested the vehicle for ownership. It was positively linked to a theft case that happened in April 2020 in the Pretoria area,” said Meyer.
