Parkmore KwikSPAR gives back

PARKMORE – With help from radio and TV host's Thando Thabethe and Mantsoe Pout, the store will be collecting and distributing new and old blankets to the many displaced and destitute people in the city.

As the first major cold front hits us this winter, Parkmore KwikSPAR has offered a way to keep those who it will impact most, warm. With help from radio and TV host’s Thando Thabethe and Mantsoe Pout, the store will be collecting and distributing new and old blankets to the many displaced and destitute people in the city.

To date, 100 blankets have been donated and the store aims to reach 2 000 blankets before the collection ends on 31 July.

“Our store has been supported and loved by so many customers over the years, which has enabled us to spread that same love and support back to those who need it most during this difficult time,” said the shop’s manager, Andreas Stephanou.
