According to Hawks spokesperson Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu, the suspect, who is a former employee of a reputable consulting firm, was arrested following a year-long investigation by the Gauteng Serious Organised Crime Investigation.

Constable Percy Ramalepe lost his life after responding to a domestic violence call in Hluhluwe Street in Paulshof on 9 April.
