Parenting with your smartphone

BRYANSTON – Parenting made easy with new app.

The Covid-19 pandemic has prompted the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa to put the country in a national lockdown for 21 days. Parents will be working from home while looking after their little ones.

This could be challenging and so socialite Tshepi Vundla has turned to technology to guide her through.

A Bryanston resident, she lets us into her world with her son Siba. “I love keeping track of Siba’s development and remembering everything at the top of head is almost impossible with everything happening in life. The Purity journey journal app just makes my life easier so I can be the best mommy to him.”

Her plan for the 21-day lockdown is to rest and create content from home.

She will also be playing the role of a teacher and keep Siba up to date with school work and activities using the app.

Other personalities Thapelo Mokoena, Loot Love and Roxy Burger are some of SA’s favourite parents who also share a glimpse of real-life activities and daily ventures with their little ones, documenting cute educational and engaging content of parenthood in these 21-days and even after.

They would like to empower other young families to be hopeful, optimistic and confident in raising their own children.

With a free parenting app to guide and assist in managing schedules and parenthood, Vundla is looking at the positives and looks forward to the rest.

“Enjoy this time with your family, bond with one another, get to know one another. Also know when to give one another space.”

She said that it is a long time, so be mindful and respectful of everyone in the house. Most importantly, stay home.
