Petrol stations follow certain protocols to ensure the safety of their customers. Engen Hurlingham Court Service Station has put hand sanitizers for both customers and workers at their garage in the shop.

The hand sanitizers are available for use in the shop by customers and staff. They also put them in the kitchen for their kitchen staff.

A healthy working environment for their staff is essential and providing them with the necessary tools to keep them safe at all times such as wipes, hand sanitizers and plastic gloves are some of the protocols they follow.

“The business has been slow as people are not coming in, most people are scared of the coronavirus outbreak so they prefer to stay at home,” said the manager at Engen garage Alie Hussain.

Customers are advised to cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze. Constantly wash their hands and wipe them after touching anything in public. Hussain added that their customers can expect a clean and safe environment when they get to their petrol station.

People can also protect themselves when they go to public places by covering their faces with masks.
