Sandton Central launches awareness drive

SANDTON – The Sandton Central Management District team of 50 public safety ambassadors operate in the precinct day and night.

Sandton Central revealed its new logo and brand at a public awareness drive at the corner of Grayston Drive and Rivonia Road recently.

The new brand represents the strength, movement, heat and energy of South Africa’s financial capital.

Commuters were given bookmarks and reusable water bottles as part of the campaign.

The Sandton Central Management District manages the public urban spaces of Sandton Central, which are home to three different business improvement districts. Commercial property owners are the driving force behind these improvement initiatives.

Sandton Central Management District city improvement manager Elaine Jack said, “We are all about a well-managed central financial district. While this means working for a clean, safe, smooth-running precinct, our purpose is crafting a place for everyone to enjoy, whether to live, work, play or visit.”

Jack said that this was the first in a series of public awareness drives. “We want people to feel the energy of Sandton Central and the passion of the people who look after its public urban spaces. It is really something special and, by sharing it through our awareness drive, we are able to add a little spark of joy to people’s days.”
