Exploring vegan recipes at Hirsch’s Hyde Park

HYDE PARK – Guests learned how to prepare a mushroom stroganoff.

There was great excitement at Hirsch’s Hyde Park recently when they launched their monthly Kitchen Capers event at the Whirlpool stand.

Eve Solomons from Good Enough to Eat dazzled the guests with her interactive vegan food demonstration, preparing a mushroom stroganoff with a delicious salad while sharing the health benefits of veganism.

Public relations officer at Hirsch’s Hyde Park Marjone Barnard said, “The guests consisted of ladies who want to know more about the lifestyle and how they can make the transformation. Eve explained that it was a good idea to first start a vegetarian lifestyle and ease into veganism, explaining that it is important to realise why you are following this lifestyle and not just adapting to it because it is trending right now.”
