Mr and Miss Varsity College event raises over R10 000

SANDTON – Mr and Miss Varsity College Sandton 2019 were crowned at the Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton.

Students all glammed up for the Mr and Miss Varsity college event held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton on 10 May.

The annual event raised over R10 000 this year for various NGOs and CSI initiatives with which the brand is involved, including Adopt-a-School.

After weeks of rehearsals and dedication, 24 diverse and well-deserving finalists participated in the show, which culminated in the crowning of Mr and Miss Varsity College.

It was a night of glitz and glamour. Second year Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (Application Development) student Paolo Bonavera and first year Bachelor of Commerce student Tashlyn Krishna were crowned winners on the night.

Students also participated in the newly-introduced talent segment, where they did various activities, including singing, painting, and monologues, to name a few.

This year’s spectacular event would not have been possible without the sponsorship of Doux Regal Couture, M21 Clothing, A-Man-And-A-Lens Photography, and Sassy Heels.
