Truck crashes through wall leaving two seriously injured
RIVONIA – When paramedics arrived on the scene they found that two men were found lying trapped inside the vehicle.
Two men, believed to be in their 30s, were left seriously injured on Friday morning when the truck they were travelling in crashed through a residence wall at the Kudu Crescent Road in Rivonia.
This is according to a media statement issued by ER24.
Russel Meiring in the ER24 communications office said, “ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene 6.40am to find that a truck had crashed through a residence wall. Two men were found lying trapped inside the vehicle.
“ER24 rescue medics managed to free the two men, using various rescue tools.
“Once freed, paramedics assessed the two men and found that they were in a serious condition.”
Meiring said the men were treated for their injuries and were provided with advanced life support interventions.
“Once treated, the men were transported to nearby hospitals by other services. The details surrounding this incident are not yet known.”
