A South African TV presenter and actress was arrested for an alleged hit-and-run incident in Bryanston on 27 January.
The actress was allegedly involved in a car accident after which she attempted to flee the scene but was chased by police officers and apprehended.
Police spokesperson Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirmed that a case of hit-and-run had been opened and the case had been transferred to the National Prosecuting Authority’s offices. Dlamini added that the woman was no longer in police custody and declined to add further details.
