What better way to start unwinding before the end of the year than with a yummy picnic, your besties and the sound of Jeremy Loops and Matthew Mole playing live in the background? Yup, Large On The Lawn is back on Sunday 25 November at Marks Park in Emmarentia and tickets are on sale now.

Large On The Lawn has become well known for their series of popular concerts and fun events, allowing Joburgers some time out of their hectic routines to relax on a blanket with drinks and snacks – and the perfect end to the weekend for sure.

The support acts are still to be confirmed, but with headliner names such as Jeremy Loops and Matthew Mole on the bill, this is set to be a popular event.

Jeremy just released his single and music video for his latest offering ‘Gold’, taken from his current studio album ‘Critical As Water’ which launched earlier this year. He has been touring internationally and just recently announced that he is set to perform a once-off headline show at the iconic Roundhouse in London on 16 February 2019 which is a huge accolade in itself.

The 172-year-old institution, with a 3500-person capacity, has played host to legends of music, including The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, and The Ramones, while contemporary stars like Radiohead and Bon Iver have called The Roundhouse home for their headline shows in London too.

Matthew Mole is also on stranger to the push and pull of the music industry and his latest album ‘Run’ saw it achieving the No. 1 position on iTunes South Africa and the album’s first single, with the same name ‘Run’, achieved Gold Status within 3 months of release in 2016. The album ‘Run’ was also nominated for Best Pop Album, Best Produced Album and Record of the Year at SAMA 23 in that year.

Gates open on the day at 12h00 and event will end by 18h00. Picnic baskets and soft cooler boxes are allowed, no liquids allowed, a free water source will be available, as well as a fully stocked bar and variety of food options. Concert-goers can pack their own food for a relaxed picnic setting.
