Man seriously injured in two-vehicle collision in Gallo Manor
GALLO MANOR – Fire and Rescue had to extricate him using hydraulic rescue tools.
A man, believed to be in his 40s, sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision on the corner of Bowling Avenue and Kelvin Drive in Gallo Manor on the evening of 25 August.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at about 11pm, they found the man trapped in his bakkie. Fire and Rescue had to extricate him using hydraulic rescue tools.
ER24, alongside a doctor from a local medical service, transported the patient to hospital for further medical care. The driver of the other vehicle, a BMW, did not sustain any injuries. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to paramedics.
