Young girl from Brescia House School blazes a trail

BRYANSTON – Mokgethwa Mkalipe was awarded her white blazer for obtaining full colours in five different fields.

Brescia House School ended the second term by awarding the prestigious honours blazer to a most worthy recipient. Mokgethwa Mkalipe has achieved excellent academic results throughout her school career and has been recognised by her peers and teachers for her leadership qualities.

A talented actress, she recently completed her Grade 8 speech and drama examination, with distinction, through Trinity College of London, and has played roles in a number of school productions. She is a capable public speaker and debater, who has demonstrated her oratory skills in numerous events and competitions.

Having achieved full colours in five disciplines, namely academic, drama, leadership, public speaking and debating, Mkalipe was awarded the white blazer at the school’s end-of-term assembly. Her mom and twin sister, Mokgethi Mkalipe, were on hand to congratulate her.
