35th Saints Festival app is live

LYME PARK – The annual Saints Fest will take place from 28 March to 7 April.

This year’s Saints Festival begins in less than one week and St Stithians College staff and schoolchildren are excited to host the seven-day event.

The festival takes place over the Easter weekend from 28 March to 2 April. After the Easter weekend, the prep school festival takes place from 5 April to 7 April.

More than 1 500 young athletes will participate in 259 fixtures in cross country, football, hockey, netball, squash, tennis and rugby.

The Saints Sports Festival app has all the latest fixture information, player profiles, results, live streaming and more. You can even select fixtures you would like to attend and create a personalised #SaintsFest2018 calendar for yourself.

The app is available for download on your device’s app store, however, due to app licensing changes with Apple, St Stithians has had to change the app. To access the app, you will have to download the CrowdCompass AttendeeHub app first, and only then can you search for the Saints Sports Festival app.

Once again, the festival will be a cashless event with the help of the festival’s title sponsor Standard Bank. Attendees will be able to pay using SnapScan or the Tap and Go card.

The festival will also have a children’s play area for those aged 12 and younger. The area is sponsored by Spur and managed by the St Stithians Boys’ Preparatory Marimba parents. There will be childminders, jumping castles, face painting, a small football field, a pirate ship and much more to keep children entertained.

There will be a fun run taking place on 2 April. Not only will you get a great workout while enjoying the astonishing St Stithians College campus, there is also R10 000 worth of prizes to be won. You can run the No Stress 5km run or the More Enthusiastic 10km race. Meet on the Jamieson field from 8am to participate.
