Crawford College has summer fun

SANDTON – Crawford College Grade 10s recently spent a week bonding at a camp in KwaZulu-Natal.

The Grade 10s at Crawford College Sandton recently spent a week in KwaZulu-Natal at the Sugar Bay Resort as a bonding tour.

A 100 Grade 10s together with three educators attended the school tour and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the American-style summer camp.

The youngsters participated in many traditional, fun and exciting camp games such as Sugar Bay Skits and Stunts, Sugar Bay Carnival Night and Sugar Bay Party Night.

In addition, they were also given the opportunity to participate in over 100 free-choice activities on land such as bungee-trampoline, arts and crafts and drama and dance classes. They also surfed, kayaked, played beach volleyball and enjoyed stand-up paddle boarding at the beach.

One of the highlights was definitely going to the beach.

The camp staff at Sugar Bay commented that they loved having Crawford College Sandton there and that they made the most of the camping experience by participating in all camp activities with great enthusiasm.

The school tour took place from January 15 to January 19.
