Twitter reacts to announcement of state capture commission
JOBURG – President Jacob Zuma announces appointment of Commission of Inquiry into state capture.
President Jacob Zuma has announced that he will be appointing a Commission of Inquiry into state capture.
Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo is expected to head the commission. The announcement comes after the North Gauteng High Court’s judgment of 14 December last year, which ordered Zuma to appoint a commission of inquiry within 30 days.
The announcement has sparked comments and conversation on Twitter.

Is it me or am i just missing the point here didn’t the remedial actions of the public protector @ThuliMadonsela3 say a Retired Judge be appointed because Raymond Zondo is a Deputy Chief Justice not a retired @karynmaughan #StatecaptureInquiry #StateCapture

Now they will start investigating Justice Zondo if he has no skeletons like they did with Justice Mogoeng. #StateCapture

After fighting the establishment of the #StateCapture enquiry, President Zuma finally accedes under legal pressure but spins it as if he is doing the country a favor – priceless. #SouthAfrica.
