Khulisa celebrates 20 years

SANDTON – Khulisa Social Solutions recently celebrated their 20th anniversary.

 

Khulisa Social Solutions recently celebrated its 20th anniversary on 31 October at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton.

The celebrations included performances from PJ Powers, a theatre performance and Khulisa graduates that shared their stories of living in Kliptown.

Khulisa was started in 1997 by Lesley Ann van Selm, ‘Khulisa’ (a Zulu word meaning “let the young child grow”), was first tested at the Soweto-based Walter Sisulu Child and Youth Care Centre.
