Crawford College Sandton recently held its Valedictory service for the class of 2017 where the school formally bade its matrics farewell.
At this assembly, achievers were recognised for their outstanding academic, cultural and sporting accomplishments. It was a wonderful evening celebrating their five years of high school.
The service included a heartfelt farewell speech, a slideshow of then-and-now toddler-and-matric photographs and inspiring speeches from the principal, Morag Rees and guest speaker Themba Baloyi.
Nigel Sudarkasa, who gave the final farewell address to his peers, thanked them for being the greatest group of individuals he has ever known. He ended his address with a quote from one of the most iconic idols they know, Buzz Lightyear, from Toy Story: To infinity and beyond!
