Law firm appoints communications all-rounder to their team

JOBURG - ENSafrica, has appointed a new director for the technology, media and telecommunications.

 

Africa’s largest law firm, ENSafrica, has appointed a new director for technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) practice in South Africa.

Wilmari Strachan has 15 years’ experience and specialises in information and communications technology (ICT) law, including the related technical, commercial, compliance, business, customer and performance management aspects.

She has a special interest in telecommunications, internet and e-commerce law, as well as software and application (app) development.

As the previous head of legal services at a major South African telecommunications company, Strachan has extensive experience in and a deep understanding of the technology, Internet and telecommunications legislative and regulatory environment.

Head of ENSafrica’s TMT team, Ridwaan Boda said, “The TMT sphere is in constant flux and Strachan’s in-depth experience in the legislative and compliance aspects of TMT, coupled with her vast insight into the operational requirements of the TMS business, give her a holistic approach that will be of great benefit to our clients, helping them to navigate the legal complexities involved in this ever-changing market.”
