BRYANSTON – Private security officer assists police in the arrest.

A 7Arrows Security officer was put to the test when a vehicle of which a description had been placed on a lookout list by police, was spotted by him.

The officer instantly recognised the vehicle, with the driver trying to gain access into a boomed area in Bryanston, and immediately radioed for assistance.

“The 7Arrows control room dispatched a vehicle to the scene whereby it was verified to match the description placed on the lookout list supplied by police earlier that morning.

“The occupants and vehicle were detained and police were summoned to the scene,” said Victor Tortora, CEO of the company.

“We have built an incredible network of resources whereby we are able to get top information directly from police on lookouts and suspected criminals which again is vital to arm officers with relevant information.”

The suspects were taken to Sandton Police Station for further questioning and investigation.
