New Rotary Club to open in Fourways

FOURWAYS – Fourways residents will soon have their own Rotary Club in the area.

The Rotary Club is launching a new branch in the Fourways area next month and anyone interested in joining the organisation is invited to attend an interest meeting on the 31 August in Bryanston.

Christopher Thompson, the district governor’s personal representative of Rotary district 9400, described Rotary as like-minded business people who meet to exchange ideas, enjoy fellowship and use their business skills to make a difference in the community.

Rotary has been functioning in Johannesburg since 1921 and has clubs in Randburg, Sandton, Kyalami, Morningside, Northcliff and many other suburbs across Gauteng.

Internationally, Rotary has more than 1.2 million members in more than 200 countries across the globe.

“If you are a business person looking to make a difference in the community, come along and meet us,” said Thompson.

“Joining Rotary can change your life.”

The meeting will take place at 6.30pm at Bryanston Sports Club on the corner of Main and Payne roads, Bryanston.
