Comfort for the little ones

SANDTON – ADT staff members donate items to Thuthuzela Community Centre.

On Mandela Day, ADT staff members from the Johannesburg and Pretoria offices visited Thuthuzela Community Centre based in Marlboro, Sandton, to donate goods to the children and staff of the centre.

After blankets, clothes, toys and non-perishable food items were donated to the centre, the ADT staff spent time with the children. The staff enjoyed the delighted reactions of the children as the items were donated.

“We called upon our staff members to give what they could and were overwhelmed by the generous response. Children held a special place in Nelson Mandela’s heart and so we felt it fitting to celebrate this day by helping these beautiful children,” said Sihle Maake, head of corporate communications at ADT.

Thuthuzela Community Centre is an orphanage and daycare centre which provides safety for abandoned, neglected and abused children.
