Calling all schools to participate in the 2016 Sleepout!

JOHANNESBURG – Schools to brave icy weather for a good cause.

Schools across South Africa have been challenged to take part in this year’s Schools SleepOut in an effort to gain empathy for vulnerable communities.

While CEO SleepOut is in its second year, this is the first year the School SleepOut, a branch off the CEO SleepOut, will be held.

Schools across the country can rise to the challenge and demonstrate their commitment by sleeping out on 28 July at their school premises.

Pupils, teachers and parents from schools such as Alpha Primary School, Pridwin, St Peter’s School Mbombela, Alpha and Omega Christian Academy, Beaulieu College (a division of Kyalami schools), Beaulieu Preparatory, Eunice Girls School, Maureensa, Shangri-La Academy, Kingsmead College, Pretoria Chinese School and St Andrews School for Girls have all responded to the call to build understanding and compassion.

The 2016 Schools SleepOut wants to challenge more pupils, teachers and parents at public and private schools to support the worthy cause by registering for the event on the SleepOut website.
